Hours:

Monday-Friday, 6 am

• 3:30 pm This position involves the daily setup and operation of hydraulic CNC-controlled press brakes to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic, or other materials.

The role includes operating press brake machines with the assistance of a Lead Operator or Supervisor, running bend and forming operations, and ensuring precision through the use of micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments.

Responsibilities:

Operate press brake machine with assistance from Lead Operator or Supervisor. Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches. Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints. Check height, depth, and thickness using precision-measuring instruments. Produce parts for assembly operations. Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements. Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications.

Essential Skills:

1 year of production experience operating a machine such as a brake press, CNC, or plasma cutter. Ability to check height, depth, and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments. Leadership qualities and ability to work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with laser operation, brake press machines, and CNC machines. Fabrication and blueprint reading skills. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00
