You will leverage your technical expertise in machine operation and troubleshooting to maintain peak efficiency, uphold rigorous quality standards, and contribute to the overall success of our production floor. Responsibilities Execute complex machine setups, changeovers, and parameter adjustments for metal stamping presses and feed lines to meet daily production targets. Proactively monitor equipment performance and process indicators to ensure optimal operation and prevent downtime. Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measurement tools, fixtures, and templates to guarantee all parts meet exact engineering specifications. Perform essential maintenance on dies, including creating shims and repairing punches, to minimize production interruptions. Manage material flow and inventory organization by safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes. Document production data, labor details, and maintenance logs with high accuracy to support operational reporting. Troubleshoot mechanical errors and identify root causes of defects to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Maintain an organized and safe workspace by adhering to all established safety protocols and equipment handling procedures. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a metal stamping or industrial manufacturing environment. Proficiency in performing machine setups, changeovers, and coil loading. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Competency in shop math and the use of standard hand tools and measurement gauges. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality enforcement. Preferred Skills Advanced mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair capabilities. Experience with progressive die systems and high-speed stamping presses. Familiarity with preventative maintenance schedules and die shop operations.
