2nd and 3RD Shift
PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR
Fort Worth, TX Job Summary The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to blueprints, job orders, and quality specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate press brake machines to produce precision metal parts Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Select and install correct tooling for each job Perform measurements and quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other tools Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production standards Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Document production and report any equipment issues or defects Requirements Previous experience operating press brake or similar CNC machinery preferred Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods Willingness to work assigned shift (2nd or 3rd shift as needed) Strong focus on safety and quality standards Work Environment Manufacturing/production floor environment Exposure to loud noise, metal materials, and machinery Requires standing, bending, and repetitive motion throughout shift
