Temp-to-Hire Opening LINK Staffing is hiring a Press Brake Operator in Sugar Land, TX. This is a temp-to-hire, 2nd shift role paying $24.00/hour. This position is a good fit for someone with hands-on press brake or metal fabrication experience who can read drawings, set up or operate fabrication equipment, work with metal parts, and check finished work for accuracy. Job Highlights $24.00/hour 2nd shift schedule Temp-to-hire opportunity Sugar Land, TX location Hands-on press brake and metal fabrication work Use fabrication equipment, shop tools, and measuring tools Good fit for candidates with press brake, bending, forming, grinding, finishing, or fabrication experience What You'll Do Operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts Read drawings, blueprints, and work instructions before fabrication Measure, check, and verify parts before and after bending Use shop tools and measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors Inspect finished parts for fit, angle, alignment, quality, and accuracy Grind, finish, or adjust metal parts as needed Report material, fit-up, machine, or quality issues when they come up Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe What We're Looking For Previous press brake, metal fabrication, or sheet metal experience required Ability to read and follow drawings, blueprints, or technical work instructions Experience using fabrication machinery, hand tools, and shop tools Comfortable using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or protractors Able to check parts for accuracy, fit, angle, and quality Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a fabrication shop environment Forklift experience is a plus Welding, grinding, polishing, finishing, or CNC press brake experience is a plus Why Apply This is a steady temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with press brake or metal fabrication experience.
