Press Brake Operator Lyneer Staffing Solutions - 3.3 Houston, TX Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Machine setup Equipment setup (production tasks) Blueprint specification interpretation High school diploma or GED Mechanical quality control procedures Full Job Description Our client is currently seeking or in need of a skilled Press Brake Operator in Houston, Texas, for a full-time evening shift opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with strong fabrication experience who can work confidently from engineering specifications, shop orders, and technical drawings while maintaining quality and precision throughout production. The right candidate will be comfortable handling machine setup, monitoring production runs, performing inspections, and ensuring all finished parts meet required standards. •Training will be on the first shift•
The Day-to-Day:
Read and interpret engineering specifications and shop orders to determine proper production methods and operational sequence Complete First Piece Inspection sheets accurately and thoroughly Position workpieces against stops, guides, or layout marks in alignment with dies or cutting blades Start and operate press brake machinery while observing performance and making adjustments as needed for multiple or successive passes Reposition materials, change dies, and modify machine settings to maintain production efficiency and part accuracy Inspect and measure finished work using rules, gauges, and templates Inspect and measure parts while maintaining statistical process control charts Complete Product Identification Tags as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of related experience Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment Strong ability to read drawings, follow process flow charts, and inspect parts to specifications Must be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and capable of taking direction from supervisor(s) Must have own tools Ability to perform independent setups Proficient in print reading Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor
Pay Rate:
$20.00 to $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 3:00 PM to 12:00
AM Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
