Press Brake Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain press brake machinery to bend, fold, and shape sheet metal components according to blueprints, CAD drawings, and production specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a focus on quality, and experience working in fast-paced industrial environments. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines Select appropriate tooling, dies, and punches based on job requirements Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders Input machine settings and perform calibrations for accurate bends Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools Ensure all products meet quality and dimensional standards Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Follow all safety protocols and production procedures Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or metal fabrication preferred Experience with CNC press brake equipment (Amada experience a plus) Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong shop math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements) High attention to detail and quality control mindset Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs Strong work ethic and reliability in a production environment Preferred Skills Prior press brake or CNC bending experience Mechanical troubleshooting and setup experience Familiarity with metal fabrication processes Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing/production setting May include exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial materials Requires standing, bending, and physical activity throughout shift

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
