FRIDAY - SUNDAY, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PMJOB SUMMARY
The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal and other materials according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in precision sheet metal fabrication, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts in accordance with specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programming as needed for optimal performance.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report any major issues to the maintenance team.

2015 quality management standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or training is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to verify part accuracy.
- Knowledge of sheet metal properties, bending tolerances, and tooling applications.
- Familiarity with

2015 quality standards is preferred.- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical capability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift (up to 50 lbs).
