Press Brake Operator

Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications to ensure precise fabrication Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) press brakes for complex bending operations, optimizing machine performance and accuracy Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment, including tooling changes and calibration checks Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure seamless production flow and adherence to safety protocols Conduct quality inspections using various measurement tools, ensuring finished parts meet all specifications before final approval Requirements Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of CNC programming and setup procedures Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in sheet metal fabrication, tooling, and machining processes. Ability to read complex blueprints and interpret standards accurately Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation, forklift handling, hand tools, and machinery operation Experience with quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machine issues Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing by bringing precision and passion to every project.
