This role is a great fit for someone with punch press experience who is comfortable with machine setup, tooling changes, blueprint reading, and sheet metal manufacturing. Role Purpose Operate and maintain punch press equipment while producing parts that meet customer quality requirements. You will also support job setup, tooling, inspection, and routine machine maintenance. Responsibilities
- Operate punch press equipment
- Load programs and set up machines for new jobs
- Change and maintain tooling
- Request replacement tooling when needed
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Read blueprints and job specifications
- Use standard measuring tools to verify part quality
- Inspect completed parts for customer quality requirements
- Operate a forklift as needed
- Keep the work area clean and ready for the next shift
- Manage materials and production time efficiently
- Work overtime, including Saturdays, when production needs require it Qualifications
- Previous punch press experience required
- Familiarity with sheet metal manufacturing processes
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic math skills
- Experience using standard measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Clear communication with leadership and team members
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to manage priorities in a busy production environment
- Willingness to work through jobs to completion
- Team focused and dependable Pay
- $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience Available Shifts
- Full time
- Standard shift is expected to be either 6:00am to 2:30pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Candidates must currently have availability between 5:00am and 3:30pm
