About the Role This role is ideal for a skilled operator who can independently set up and run CNC press brakes to form high-precision metal parts. You'll work from complex prints, perform layouts, and make all adjustments needed to ensure accuracy and quality. You'll also support other areas of the shop when needed and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Do Set up, adjust, and operate CNC press brakes to form metal parts Read and interpret blueprints to determine setup and operation methods Create and edit bending programs to maintain accuracy Perform hand layout processes and understand punch beds and tooling Make machine adjustments to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances Work to production schedules and meet deadlines Safely rig and move parts and weldments using overhead cranes Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment What You Bring High School Diploma or GED required 2-3+ years of press brake or related fabrication experience preferred Strong print reading skills Knowledge of metal alloy characteristics and formability Experience with CNC press brake setup and die/tooling selection Ability to create and modify bending programs Proficient with hand tools and fabrication equipment Forklift experience (or ability to obtain certification) Strong attention to detail and safety
SHIFT SCHEDULE
