Press Brake Operator Job Description Join our team and work in a modern, bright, and organized shop featuring an open-floor layout and excellent lighting. As a Press Brake Operator, you will manage your specific station or cell while collaborating closely with a skilled team. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC press brakes to bend, form, and punch various grades of steel and aluminum. Select, change, and align die sets and punches based on material thickness and required bend angles. Read and interpret complex technical drawings, including flat pattern layouts, to determine the correct sequence of bends. Use calipers, protractors, and height gauges to inspect parts after the first hit and throughout the run to ensure they meet 100% of customer specifications. Manage tooling and ensure precision in operations. Essential Skills 2+ years of press brake experience. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Proficiency in reading blueprints. Experience with CNC, punch press, and calipers. Strong basic math skills for calculating dimensions and verifying angles. Attention to detail to spot deviations before they affect production. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift experience is preferred. Prior experience with CNC press brake operation is preferred, including an understanding of bend allowances and k-factors. Work Environment The work environment includes a 1st shift schedule from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm on a 4/10's schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wrightstown, WI.
