If you're mechanically minded — the kind of person who tinkers, troubleshoots, and likes understanding how equipment runs — we want to train you on ours. We run print and bindery equipment in a clean, climate-controlled production facility. The work is hands-on and active, but it isn't the heavy, exposed-to-the-elements grind of auto repair or construction. You'll be on your feet operating precision machinery indoors, out of the heat. There's real craft to this work, and plenty to learn — it's a great fit for someone early in their career who wants to build a skilled trade and grow with a stable, established Hawaii company. No print experience required. If you've turned a wrench, run a CNC or shop machine in a trade program, or just have a real mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, we'll teach you the rest. We cross-train our team across equipment and processes, so you won't be stuck on one machine — and the more you can run, the further you can go here. What You'll Do Set up, operate, and maintain production and bindery equipment — cutters, folders, binders, laminators, digital and large-format printers, and finishing machinery Perform routine machine maintenance, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting; flag bigger issues to the team Load and prep materials (paper stock, substrates, adhesives) and keep equipment running clean and dialed in Run quality checks throughout the job to keep output consistent and accurate Follow job tickets and production schedules to hit deadlines Package, label, and help ship finished work Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Cross-train across multiple machines and processes, building toward running more of the shop over time What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude: You're comfortable around machines and enjoy the troubleshoot-and-adjust side of the work A learner's mindset: Curious, coachable, and eager to pick up new machines and techniques Reliability & professionalism: You show up, follow through, and take pride in your work
