Job Duties:

• General knowledge and understanding of die cutting processes and equipment.
• Reads job tickets to determine setup specifications and instructions.
• Observes and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
• Follows all standard operating procedures relevant to the job, position and department.
• Performs routine adjustments during the press run and maintain production throughout the run.
• Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
• Follows instructions accurately.
• Maintains records of daily production, using specified forms.
• Records production information such as amounts of time spent on specific tasks.
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
• Opens machines and remove/replace damaged products, using hand tools.
• Trains workers to set up, operate and use machines.
• Daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Preforms make-readies.
• Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers (in all departments) as needed to maximize production efficiency.
• Follows established department policies, procedures, work instructions and safety and environmental guidelines.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

Schedule:

2nd Shift -2:30pm - 10:30pm

Pay:

$26.00

Die Cutter Machine Operator Requirements:

5+ years of die cutter machine operation experience Experience with Bobst machines (130ERII or Novacut 106 preferred) Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability Ability to perform full make-readies and tooling adjustments Clear communication and team collaboration skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to pass color vision and color hue tests
