Braid Job Summary:
Operate braiding machines. Machine operators are responsible for setting machines to meet job-specific dimensions in accordance with MIS instructions. Operators hold the harness over their shoulders and feed into the braiding machine.Job Core Tasks:
- Must be able to stand throughout the entirety of the shift as the position is a standing position.
- Must be to hold harnesses weighing up to 50 lbs over their shoulders for extended periods of time.
- Must always wear safety glasses while on the production floor.
- Follow company policies and regulations as listed on MIS Policy Acknowledgment Form.
Skills:
- Ability to perform basic computer functions such as reading and entering data, navigating MIS software, training provided, and basic troubleshooting.
- Basic reading skills.
- Time management.
- Communication skills, being able to alert manager or lead when an error occurs.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and move up to 50 pounds with barrel dolly.
