Operator

SUMMARY Set up, adjust, and operate machine. Inspect material during production run and adjust machine as required. Perform quality control during runs to ensure product standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: Includes but not limited to the following:

• Machine set-up according to Project Manager's specifications on work ticket
• Confirm proper materials are assembled to complete job in timely, accurate, and efficient manner
• Operate machine at maximum speed conducive to productivity
• Perform maintenance on machine such as oiling parts, cleaning dust, tightening any loosened belts, bolt, or screws
• Inform Plant Manager of any problems or issues with material quality or machine. Report all material shortages to plant manager immediately
• Coordinate and communicate with Warehouse Manager to have materials delivered to work area
• Transport materials to the next step (department) in the process, confirming all materials are accounted for. Residual materials should be boxed appropriately and travel with completed inkjet material and given to the plant manager for return to the customer
• Acquire needed supplies such as rubber bands and trays
• Record time and counts into accounting system
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Understand and fluently manage the inkjet operating software system. Must be able to setup and operate tabbing machine as related to the inkjet base
• Perform all duties as assigned and any other duties dictated by management

QUALIFICATIONS

: A high school diploma or equivalent is desired. Good visual and problem-solving abilities. Must have basic reading, math and computer skills. Capable of following written directions and interpret instructions, have a sense of urgency, work independently without constant supervision; and be detail oriented as well as organized. Overtime may be required as well as working on Saturday.

$17.00 per hour
