Job Description

ArborOakland Group is a one-stop printer serving local, regional and national clients. We provide our clients with a broad range of services including Commerical Printing, Digital Printing, Wide Format Printing, Mailing, and Kitting & Fulfillment. We are looking for a Bindery Operator for our day shift operations (7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) to join our team. The right candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced production environment. This person will have attention to detail and ideally familiarity with printing, bindery/finishing (folders, cutters, booklet maker, etc) or are

JOB DUTIES
Set up and operate bindery machines, such as Cutting, Folding, Saddlestitching, Scoring and Die-Cutting equipment.
Read / Understand
job tickets to determine instructions and specifications for machine set-up. Install or adjust bindery machine devices. Review products to ensure product quality. Maintain records, such as daily production records, using specified forms. Maintain or make minor repairs to equipment. Experience with any of the following equipment is a plus but not required: MBO / Stahl continuous feed folders, Muller Martini saddle stitcher, Horizon Saddle Stitcher, Polar Cutter, Heidelberg cylinder die cutters
QUALIFICATIONS
Motivation to learn Mechanical Aptitude Commercial Bindery experience preferred but not required. On-the-job training is available.
