Job Description

Cutting and Laminating Machine Operator 2nd and 3rd shift Pay up to 25/hr Job Description This role focuses on operating cutting and laminating equipment to produce high-quality marketing materials, calendars, baseball cards, and packaging. You will load and unload materials, perform visual quality checks, and follow detailed work instructions to ensure accurate and consistent output. As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to learn additional processes across the printing operation and grow into a skilled printing and laminating machine operator. Responsibilities Operate cutting and laminating machines to produce marketing materials, calendars, baseball cards, and packaging according to specifications. Load product and materials into the laminating machine safely and efficiently. Stack completed printed and laminated materials neatly on pallets for further processing or shipment. Perform visual quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements. Document quality findings accurately on quality documents for audit and traceability purposes. Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures to complete tasks consistently and correctly. Maintain a clean and organized work area around the machines and production lines. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Learn additional tasks and processes in other printing and laminating areas as skills develop. Adapt to working in different departments and on different job duties as production needs change. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience in machine operation or assembly, preferably within the printing industry. At least 1 year of experience working from written work instructions and quality documents. Basic understanding of printing, laminating, assembly, kitting, packaging, and machine operation processes. Strong attention to detail when performing visual quality checks and documenting results. Ability to stand and be on your feet for the entire shift. Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures accurately. Willingness and flexibility to learn new tasks, departments, and job duties as needed. Work Environment This position is based in a climate-controlled, well-lit printing shop environment. The facility includes multiple sections dedicated to different product sizes and types, providing exposure to a variety of printing and laminating processes. You will spend most of your time on your feet operating machinery, loading materials, and handling finished products. The work area is production-focused, with an emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and following established procedures.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
