Press Brake Set Up-Operator Pay:

$25-$30/hr | Full-Time | 1st Shift Position Summary The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating Safan press brakes to bend, form, and shape metal components with precision. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to maintain high quality standards in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Safan press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings Select, install, and align dies, punches, and tooling for each job Perform in‑process inspections using calipers, gauges, and measurement tools to verify tolerances Adjust machine settings and back gauges to maintain accuracy and consistency Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning to ensure equipment reliability Follow all safety procedures , including PPE and OSHA guidelines Maintain accurate production and inspection records Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to improve processes Identify and report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns Skills & Qualifications Experience with press brake operation , preferably Safan machines Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of fabrication processes Proficient with calipers, gauges, and inspection tools Ability to troubleshoot and make machine adjustments Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience (preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Why Work Here Enjoy a work-hard-play-hard culture with unique perks and a strong focus on employee happiness.
