Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press equipment to produce high-quality parts while maintaining safety and efficiency. What You'll Do Set up, adjust, and operate press machines (punching, blanking, forming, drawing, etc.) Align and secure dies; adjust ram stroke and material feed Run sample parts, inspect for quality, and make necessary adjustments Perform production runs based on work orders and specifications Use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges) for quality checks Read and follow blueprints, job prints, and work instructions Use pre-programmed settings and assigned tooling Prepare setups for upcoming jobs when possible Perform routine machine maintenance Additional Responsibilities Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Keep work area and equipment clean and organized Report equipment issues to Supervisor Operate a forklift to move and stage materials Identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction Complete other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For Required Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic computer skills Strong organization and multitasking skills Sense of urgency and attention to detail Positive attitude and reliable work ethic Mechanical and mathematical aptitude Forklift certification (preferred or willingness to obtain) Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 70 lbs Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing environment Work Environment Manufacturing/production setting Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Safety-focused workplace Why Join Us? Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
