Air-Conditioned Manufacturing Facility About the Position We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Digital Print Finisher to join our production team in Mogadore, Ohio. In this position, you will set up and operate Telstar and CEI digital finishing equipment to convert printed label material into finished products that meet customer specifications. This includes inspecting, cutting, slitting, counting, rewinding, and preparing finished label rolls for packaging and shipment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is comfortable operating production equipment, and takes pride in producing quality work. What You'll Do Set up and operate Telstar and CEI digital finishing machines and other finishing equipment as assigned. Cut, slit, count, and rewind labels according to customer and job specifications. Review job tickets and work instructions to ensure proper machine setup and production requirements. Inspect labels throughout the production process for print defects, wrinkles, registration issues, and other quality concerns. Remove defective labels and splice rolls as needed. Verify finished rolls meet required quantities, dimensions, and customer specifications. Complete core labels and properly identify finished production orders. Produce and apply the correct outer carton labels. Ensure finished products are packaged correctly and prevent the mixing of jobs or customer products. Report equipment, printing, or quality issues to the appropriate operator or supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine cleaning of finishing equipment. Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, quality standards, and customer requirements. Complete required production and quality documentation. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous manufacturing, machine operation, printing, or production experience preferred. Experience with digital finishing, label converting, slitting, or rewinding equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic computer skills. Ability to read measurements using a ruler. Ability to read and follow job tickets, work instructions, and operating procedures. Good mechanical aptitude and ability to make basic machine adjustments. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Willingness to work overtime as needed. High school diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent manufacturing or production experience will also be considered. Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, including repetitive lifting of up to 20 pounds. The position requires the ability to visually inspect printed products, including identifying print defects, registration issues, and color variations. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
