2016 certified. About the job We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/Die Setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining stamping presses, performing general repairs, preventative maintenance on production equipment and ensuring that production runs smoothly. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Job Functions

• Set up and try out dies in the press; make tooling adjustments to achieve part quality, dimensional accuracy, and process capability
• Perform routine maintenance on presses, tappers and production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Changeover tappers; chaser, reamer heads.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers to verify part dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings for accurate press setup.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless workflow.
• Troubleshoot issues related to press performance, tappers and production equipment and make necessary adjustments.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently during the production process.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards within the manufacturing facility.
• Perform routine maintenance, breakdown and preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
