Die Cutting Operator

Die Cutting Operator 1st & 2nd Shift Openings Join a people-centered company with a strong team culture! We're looking for an two experienced Die Cutting Operator with a background in printing & folding carton packaging to join our production team. About the Role The 1st shift positions will need minimum 3 years experience in setting up job, completing make ready, and ability to set up stripping unit. the 2nd shift position requires 3-5 years experience with die cutting and blanking. Both roles will play a key part in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency throughout each production run.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, adjust, and operate die cutting machinery, including stripping and blanking processes Complete accurate make-readies and pull samples to verify job specifications Monitor production runs to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded Inspect finished products for accuracy and consistency Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment Troubleshoot mechanical or quality issues as they arise Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting About You You'll be a strong fit for this role if you bring the following experience and skills:

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Die Cutting Operator or Die Cutting Pressman in the printing, packaging, or folding carton industry Hands-on experience with steel rule dies, counter plates, make-ready materials, and stripping/blanking tools, embossing Strong understanding of paperboard substrates (SBS, CCNB, Kraft, etc.) and their impact on cutting, scoring, and creasing Ability to read and interpret job tickets, CAD layouts, die lines, and quality specifications Proven ability to complete accurate make-readies with minimal supervision Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills Solid math skills and ability to measure tight tolerances Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience operating Bobst, SBL, or similar die cutting equipment
