Xpressdocs is looking for a Guillotine Cutting Machine Operator to be responsible for operating and maintaining cutting machines to produce high-quality, accurate products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of guillotine cutting processes and equipmentIn this position, you will:
Set up and operate guillotine cutting machines to cut printed materials according to job specificationsRead and interpret job tickets, cutting orders, and production layoutsEnsure accuracy of cuts by measuring, aligning, and verifying materials before and after cuttingInspect finished products for quality, consistency, and compliance with specificationsPerform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues to maintenance staffReceive, identify, and organize materials as needed for production workflowMaintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company safety standardsTrack production output and complete required documentation or logsCollaborate with press, bindery, and finishing teams to ensure efficient job flowWillingness to cross-train and assist in operating other equipment to support team coverage and operational efficiency.
