Digital Print Production Manager T3 Print Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time $40,000 - $60,000 a year 12 hours ago Qualifications Digital printing Teamwork Production management software Attention to detail Production planning Time management Printing facility experience Full Job Description Position Summary The Digital Printing Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily digital print production operations to ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This position manages production staff, coordinates workflow, maintains equipment, monitors job schedules, and works closely with customer service, sales, and management to ensure customer expectations are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of daily digital print production from job intake through completion and delivery. Schedule and prioritize production jobs to meet customer deadlines and maximize workflow efficiency. Manage, train, and supervise production staff, including assigning daily responsibilities and monitoring performance. Operate and maintain digital printing equipment, including troubleshooting basic production and equipment issues. Ensure all printed materials meet established quality standards before moving to finishing or delivery. Review job specifications, artwork, quantities, materials, and finishing requirements prior to production. Monitor production schedules and communicate potential delays or issues to the appropriate team members. Coordinate with customer service representatives, sales staff, and other departments to ensure accurate job completion. Maintain inventory of paper, substrates, inks, toner, and other production supplies and place orders as needed. Develop and maintain efficient production procedures and workflows. Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve productivity, and increase overall production efficiency. Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of production equipment and work areas. Coordinate routine equipment maintenance and communicate with service technicians when necessary. Maintain a safe and organized production environment in accordance with company policies and safety requirements. Assist with hands-on production, finishing, and other duties as needed to meet deadlines. Monitor job costs, production time, and material usage to help maintain profitability. Qualifications Previous experience in digital printing, commercial printing, or a related production environment required. Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of digital printing processes, paper stocks, substrates, finishing, and print production workflows. Experience operating digital printing equipment and related finishing equipment. Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues effectively. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Effective communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team. Proficiency with computers and production workflow software is required. Experience with bindery preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the production area for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials and boxes, typically up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate printing, finishing, and production equipment. Key Performance Expectations The Digital Printing Production Manager will be expected to: Ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule. Maintain high standards of print quality and customer satisfaction. Lead and support the production team effectively. Minimize production errors, waste, and reprints. Maintain efficient workflows and productive use of equipment and staff. Communicate proactively regarding scheduling challenges, equipment issues, and production delays. Help create a positive, organized, and team-oriented production environment.
