Converter Press Operator Job Summary The Converter Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining converting press equipment used in the production of packaging materials, labels, films, or related products. This role ensures that production runs efficiently, meets quality standards, and complies with safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate converting press machines (e.g., Delta press, slitter, laminator, or die cutter). Monitor machine performance and adjust settings (speed, tension, pressure) to ensure optimal output. Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime. Read and interpret job orders and production schedules. Maintain accurate production records (output, waste, downtime). Ensure proper material handling (films, adhesives, substrates, inks). Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Coordinate with quality control and maintenance teams as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred). 2-5 years of experience in printing, packaging, or converting operations. Knowledge of delta press operations. Ability to read job specifications and measurements. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with quality inspection tools (calipers, gauges, visual checks). Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs Standing for long durations Shift timings: 2-10:30 pm

Pay Range:

$20 - $22 per hour , depending on experience and skill level
