Join our dynamic printing team as a Lead Pressman and take charge of our high-quality production processes! In this vital role, you will oversee the operation of various printing presses AB DICK or Ryobis, ensuring top-tier quality, efficiency, and precision across all projects. Your expertise in mechanical adjustments, color management, and print production will drive the success of our manufacturing operations. We're looking for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional print advertising and graphic design solutions.
Key Qualifications:
Detail-Oriented:
High precision in interpreting complex prepress files, production specs, and layout designs.
Punctuality & Dependability:
Proven track record of consistent timeliness, reliability, and meeting tight production deadlines.
Equipment & Mechanical Expertise:
Strong working knowledge of industrial press machinery, setup protocols, and technical troubleshooting.
Leadership Ability:
Demonstrated skills in guiding, motivating, and directing team members in a fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
Conduct rigorous inspections of printed outputs for precise color accuracy, layout consistency, and typography standards.
Equipment Operation & Setup:
Lead the setup, operation, and troubleshooting across equipment.
Bindery & Post-Press Support:
Assist with post-press operations as needed, including paper cutting, binding, machining, and finishing procedures.
Pressroom Leadership:
Direct daily machine operations, supervise team members, ensure workplace safety standards, and keep team productivity aligned with output targets.
Color & Prepress Coordination:
Manage color consistency using advanced techniques and coordinate with prepress teams using software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). You must be able to set up the press and run a job by yourself or we wil lnot consider you for the position.
Pay:
$17.50 - $19.00 per hour
