Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Printer/Copier Technician to lead technical service, installations, and precision maintenance for our fleet of Konica Minolta, HP, and Duplo equipment. Serving St. George and surrounding areas, this is primarily a field-based position requiring a blend of mechanical expertise, I.T. networking, and advanced color management.Responsibilities:
Service Excellence:
Deliver elite technical support by managing a daily travel schedule, investigating complex technical complaints, and resolving equipment breakdowns with precision.Operational Efficiency:
Minimize equipment downtime through rapid response times and high "first-time fix" rates. Our goal is the total elimination of repeat service calls through thorough repair and testing.Preventative Maintenance:
Execute rigorous maintenance schedules and product installations to ensure all hardware operates at peak manufacturer specifications.Color Quality Assurance:
Perform routine color calibrations and profile adjustments to ensure output remains consistent and accurate across diverse media.Administrative Accuracy:
Maintain timely, professional account updates and service logs to ensure transparent communication with the home office and the client.Continuous Learning:
Maintain a mastery of evolving print technology by attending all required technical training courses and certifications.Qualifications:
Technical Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field, supplemented by a robust I.T. and networking background.Color Management & Quality Control:
Advanced proficiency in color theory and "Match-to-Print" accuracy. Must be experienced in the calibration and profiling of digital presses using industry-standard tools (e.g., X-Rite, EFI Fiery, or spectrophotometers).Diagnostic Mastery:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly resolve mechanical and electrical equipment breakdowns.Network Integration:
Proven ability to configure complex print/scan products within diverse client network environments.Professionalism:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to represent the company with a professional, solution-oriented demeanor during all client interactions.Self-Direction:
Demonstrated ability to function independently in a high-stakes, self-directed environment while contributing to the overall team's success.Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Benefits:
