About the Position The primary duty of this position is to run state-of-the-art, modern HD Flexo film presses featuring low-migration/low-odor UV inks, LED curing, defect detection, auto registration and more. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology; this position involves a high level of interaction with the press and automated systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Unsupervised setup, tear-down, and execution of all activities related to successfully running flexographic printing presses
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards, including performing quality protocols prescribed in company Quality Program
• Utilize defect detection system, color qualification system and other measuring devices
• Participate in continuous improvement by recommending process, product, or machinery improvements and solutions
• Conduct routine press maintenance activities
• Maintain press area to comply with Food Packaging Safety and Physical Safety standards and regulations
• Ensure accurate data is entered into manufacturing paperless timecard systems
• Ability to work with deadlines and adapt to changing production demands
• Ability to work schedule as assigned Position requirements Qualifications, skills and abilities:
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least two years of machine operating experience
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Read and interpret written information
• Strong math skills and excellent measurement skills Physical Demands and Work environment:
• This position will be on the production floor in a manufacturing environment
• Stand for long periods of time, with standard rest-periods
• Walk, stand, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• See and discern color
• Exposure to and work near moving mechanical parts
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
• Noise level in the work environment can be loud

Pay:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
