Location:
Avondale, Arizona What you will be doing: Setup and Calibration. Loading paper rolls, setting up/change over adhesive station, cutting station, and roll turret. Monitor the operation of the press during production, making real-time adjustments to settings like pressure, temperature, and speed to ensure quality and consistency in the output. Quality Control. Conducting first-piece and in-process quality inspections is crucial. Press operators ensure that finished products meet precise specifications and quality standards. Routine preventative maintenance is a significant part of the role. This includes cleaning, lubricating machinery, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Maintaining accurate production records is essential. Operators document output, material usage, and any operational issues that arise during production.
What you must have:
Minimum 3 years' relevant printing experience (flexographic) High school diploma / GED or equivalent Basic math skills (fractions, decimals) and fine distance measurement experience Strong troubleshooting and time management skills Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Team-oriented communicator (works well with maintenance, QC, managers) Background /
Industry:
