We are looking for a Printing Press Machine Operator / Setup Specialist who loves hands-on problem-solving and heavy mechanical work. In this role, you aren t just a button-pusher-you are the mechanical backbone of a fast-paced, high-volume production environment, setting up and fine-tuning precision packaging and converting machinery.
salary:

Core Responsibilities:
Setups & Changeovers:
Own the make-ready process, executing format changes based on job tickets.
Mechanical Troubleshooting:
Monitor live runs to fix jams, misfeeds, and alignment issues on the fly.
Preventative Maintenance:
Keep the W+D fleet running smoothly via routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Quality & Safety:
Ensure zero-defect output and follow strict Lockout/Tagout safety protocols.
What We Look For:
Experience:
strong background as a Machine Adjuster, Setup Operator, or Mechanical Pressman.
The Tech:
Direct experience with folder/gluer components or W+D equipment is highly preferred.
The Mindset:
Sharp mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot high-speed equipment under tight deadlines.
The Basics:
Ability to stand for a full shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain stellar attendance.
