SCREEN PRINT OPERATOR

Operates screen print presses to print decorative designs on garments by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reads work order to determine proper logo and location of screen print.
• Determines from orders type and color of designs to print.
• Checks with supervisor on all aspects of what each job curtails.
• Patrols printing area to monitor production activities and to detect problems, such as mechanical breakdowns or malfunctions.
• Trains workers in use of printing equipment and in quality standards.
• Check garments, colors, and all programs to be run.
• Loading and unloading of screen print machine.
• Feeding printed garments into the screen print dryer.
• Follows all safety procedures to assure a safe workplace.
• Other duties may be assigned as directed by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to Stand 8 to 10 Hours per Day
• Ability to Lift Up to 25 lbs Frequently
• Expected to Lift and Reach
• Able to Understand and Follow Verbal and Written Instructions with Minimal Supervision
• Able to Multitask
• Must be Able to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Must be Able to Work Flexible Schedule and Overtime, as needed
• Simple math, counting skills
• On the job training, no experience required Positive attitude and desire to be a team player Reliability in adhering to company attendance standards
