Full Job Description Printing Press Operator Phoenix, AZ Packaging Manufacturer Pay:

• 5am We are working with an established company specializing in Film Printing based in Phoenix, AZ.

They are recruiting for a Printing Press Operator to join their team on day pr night shift (Flexible shift options) in return for flexible pay along with excellent employment benefits which include Healthcare, Vision and Dental insurance and PTO.

Key Responsibilities include:

Operate Wide Web Printing Press Printing Film with a width of 20"

• 59" Run several presses with different size and color capacities.

Prepare machines for printing. Install the printing plate with the images to be printed. Ink the presses, load rolls of film, and adjust the press to the correct size. Ensure that film and ink meet specifications Monitor the operation while running the press. Correct film tears or jams. Search for and correct problems. Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of film and ink. Perform preventive maintenance. Qualifications & Experience required: Must understand solvent inks in surface and lamination printing Experienced with high-end process color printing Able to set up press as per job history Able to understand and work with color management tools Able to troubleshoot and adjust as required for customer press checks Able to supervise and train press helpers in daily production Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a press operator Able to work in a fast-paced team environment Operate equipment at highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions Responsible for communicating with management regarding daily schedules Keep work area and machines clean Must be able to stand and monitor press through the shift Bending, twisting, kneeling and stooping as is required for normal production day
