This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, fast learner with a 'can do', positive, and cheerful attitude to join a stable company. The successful candidate will be a multitasker and possess the ability to meet deadlines. This is a Small Format Operator position based out of our Phoenix, AZ location.

The ideal candidate will be Responsible for the production and coordination of high-quality color print documents, according to customer specifications. Operating high-speed color Digital printers such as Canon, Xerox, and Konica Minolta machines or equivalent as needed. Scheduling work assignments and maintenance of equipment within the department. Maintaining productivity and quality standards as established by Production Management. Duties Ensure completion of projects (must be able to prioritize) Send print-ready files to various printers through both automated and custom workflows Ensure established processes are followed within the department Facilitate quality control in the digital printing process Schedule work for others within the department Operate and maintain digital printers Follow preventative maintenance routines on machinery as required Collaborate with Production Management on ideas for improvement Qualifications and Skills Previous experience with high volume Digital Printing required Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret specific work instructions. Well organized and extremely detail-oriented. Ability to properly run various printers Multi-tasking ability is a must. Ability to maintain orderly workflow and prioritize assignments Strong leadership ability with effective communication skills Strong problem-solving with sound judgment ability Ability to effectively develop and train others Requirements High School diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required) Intermediate/Advanced PC knowledge Basic math skills May be required to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift to 50 pounds Thomas Printworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
