The Digital Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining high-volume digital printing presses to produce quality printed materials. This role requires experience operating multiple digital press machines, specifically

HP 6800, HP

12000 and

HP 15000

, while ensuring jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Set up and operate multicolor digital printing presses according to job specifications and customer requirements Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot

HP 6800, HP

12000 and

HP 15000

digital presses Review job tickets and verify correct stock, artwork revisions, die lines, colors, and special instructions Install inks, load paper stock, align prints, and complete start-up and quality checks Monitor print quality throughout production, identifying and correcting issues to minimize waste and rework Perform routine maintenance and technical adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance Close out jobs by verifying approvals and completing required documentation Communicate with other departments to maintain workflow and resolve issues as they arise Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas following 6S guidelines Assist with finishing operations and other duties as needed Be available for overtime as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Minimum 1 year of digital press operating experience, preferably with HP Indigo presses Experience operating

HP 6800, HP

12000 and

HP 15000

required Ability to read and interpret job tickets and printing specifications Strong attention to detail, including the ability to identify color differences and print defects Basic computer proficiency Good hand-eye coordination and strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task and work effectively both independently and as part of a team Flexibility in an ever-changing production environment and under time constraints
