In this role, you will be responsible for operating high-quality sheetfed offset presses to produce vibrant, accurate, and consistent full-color printed materials. Your expertise will ensure that each print run meets our rigorous quality standards while maintaining efficiency and safety. Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and operate multi-color sheetfed offset presses to produce high-quality printed materials with precise color matching and registration. Prepare printing plates, inks, and other press components, ensuring optimal performance throughout each job run. Monitor press operation continuously, making adjustments as needed to maintain color consistency, image quality, and press speed. Conduct thorough quality control checks during and after printing to identify and resolve issues related to color accuracy, registration, or print defects. Maintain detailed records of job specifications, press settings, and production logs for traceability and process improvement. Perform routine maintenance on presses and related equipment to ensure longevity and reliable operation. Collaborate with prepress teams on file preparation, color management, and layout adjustments using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software tools. Skills Proven experience operating full-color sheetfed offset presses in a fast-paced production environment. Strong understanding of color management principles and techniques for achieving consistent print results. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues related to printing presses. Experience with quality control procedures for print materials. Knowledge of typography, layout design principles, and print production standards.
