About us Greener Printer is a sustainable commercial printing company in Point Richmond. We make high-quality printed products for customers across the country, with a smaller environmental footprint than the rest of the industry. Our production floor moves fast and takes pride in getting orders out right and on time. About the role We're hiring a Digital Press Operator for our early shift. You'll run our digital presses, manage print files and job setups, monitor output for color and quality, and keep production moving. This role suits someone who's comfortable with both the machine side and the computer side of digital printing. What you'll do Operate and maintain digital printing equipment throughout the shift. Set up jobs, manage print files, and check that output matches specs. Monitor color, alignment, and quality, and make adjustments as needed. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Hit daily production targets while holding quality. Keep your workstation clean, organized, and stocked. What we're looking for Digital printing experience strongly preferred. We'll also consider candidates with a mechanical background (machine operation, maintenance, repair) or strong computer and software navigation skills who can learn the press. Comfortable working with computers, print files, and job management software. Detail-oriented, with a good eye for color and quality. Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to an early start (4:00am). Comfortable standing for full shifts and doing repetitive, physical work. Local to the Point Richmond / Richmond / East Bay area. Schedule 1st shift: 4:00am to 12:30pm, full-time, on-site. This early start requires someone dependable who can consistently begin the day on time.
