We are looking for someone who knows how to run an automatic press, understands production flow, and takes pride in putting out clean, consistent, high-quality prints. This is a great opportunity for a skilled screen printer who wants to be part of a growing shop with steady work, a solid team, and room to grow. About the Position This role is for an experienced press operator who can confidently run one of our M&R automatic screen printing presses . You should be comfortable setting up jobs, registering screens, dialing in print settings, keeping production moving, and catching quality issues before they become problems. We need someone who understands that production printing is about more than just pulling ink across a screen — it's about speed, consistency, organization, communication, and quality from the first shirt to the last. What You'll Do

• Run an M&R automatic screen printing press
• Set up and break down jobs efficiently
• Register multi-color designs accurately
• Dial in off-contact, squeegee pressure, angle, stroke speed, flash timing, and dryer settings
• Monitor print quality throughout production runs
• Check for registration issues, ink coverage, garment defects, placement, and curing
• Keep jobs moving while maintaining high-quality standards
• Read and follow work orders and production notes
• Communicate with the team about job status, issues, and timelines Help keep the press area clean, organized, and production-ready
• Assist with basic press maintenance and troubleshooting when needed What We're Looking For
• Previous automatic screen printing experience required
• Experience running an M&R automatic press strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of production screen printing
• Ability to set up and run multi-color jobs
• Good eye for detail, registration, and print quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
• Able to stand for long periods and lift boxes of garments when needed
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Skills That Are a Plus Simulated process printing Water-based or discharge printing experience Ink mixing and Pantone matching Experience printing tees, hoodies, performance apparel, and specialty garments Basic knowledge of dryers, flash units, and production workflow Why Work With Us Coastal Print House is a growing screen printing shop focused on quality, efficiency, and dependable production.
