  • Operating the Heidelberg press, running print jobs in a productive and efficient manner.
  • Monitoring press performance (registration, copy, color and other quality parameters) on a regular basis.
  • Communicating, planning and delivering on a quick-change-over as efficiently as possible. Managing ink and water balance to print a quality job.
  • Must be able to work under deadlines and pressure to meet goals Check & run to production schedule.
Read work order, confirm size, style and copy information. Set up press to sheet specs Check copy. Perform quality checks a minimum of one sheet per load is to be checked. Recheck printed loads on the floor for quality defects, especially coating issues. Tag loads when defects are found. Ability to adjust and monitor color on press. Perform basic press maintenance. Responsible for press housekeeping. Associate is responsible to keep their work area clean, empty trash and sweep daily.
Job Requirements Qualifications:
Be SAFE - Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures. Be
DEPENDABLE
- Regular and predictable attendance, overtime when required. 2nd shift is 4-10 hours days monday-Thursday or regular shift. Be a
TEAM PLAYER
- Ability to assist with press and/or machinery set‐up, run, and clean up. Be CARING - Pay attention to the details; respect others, and communicate openly. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Ability to work in the US without company sponsorship required.
Preferred Experience:
5 years' experience operating a sheetfed (Komori, Heidelberg, Ryobi,)
Experience Required:
2-year lead pressman on sheet fed press Mixing inks will be required Operate a computer to generate a plate Familiarity with bindery equipment Must be able to work under deadlines and pressure to meet goals Must be dependable Team-oriented and flexible; goal-oriented
