Full Job Description Digital Print Press Operator Location:
Post Falls, ID, 83854 Summary Digital Lizard is looking for a Digital Printing Press Operator to join the team at our Post Falls, ID location. This position requires the capability to work both as a team member and independently. Digital Press Operators process customer orders on various digital press machines. This role reports to the Pressroom Manager. Responsibilities Adjust, operate, and maintain top of the line digital printing presses. Manage print queue, ensure optimal print quality, perform quality checks, and replenish supplies such as ink and substrate to maintain consistent performance. Perform minor repairs and conduct weekly maintenance. Familiarize with products and printer specifications including setup, size, and paper. Maintain a clean work environment while following all safety regulations. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Qualifications Preferred knowledge of printing procedures, computer software, materials, equipment, safety requirements, and skills to perform assignments. Mechanical knowledge and manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read and understand job specifications to determine press setup and materials needed to run the job successfully. Ability to work in a high-level, fast-paced environment while maintaining focus, attention to detail, and quick decision making. Perform maintenance as needed daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Job requires ability to exert 50 to 70 pounds of force frequently. Flexible schedule required due to the nature of this position.
