In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of print production processes, color management, and quality control standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in print manufacturing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor flexo printing presses to ensure consistent quality and efficiency during production runs. Meet and exceed OOE standards. Through check of samples and web for quality. Register press. Conduct color management, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate reproduction of graphics. Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Implement quality control procedures by inspecting printed materials for color accuracy, registration, and defect detection. Maintain accurate production records, including job specifications, run times, and material usage. Collaborate with the prepress team to optimize print layouts and ensure adherence to design specifications. Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts or CNC machinery as needed for material handling and setup. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment. Knowledge and Skill Requirments Proven experience operating flexo printing presses within a manufacturing or print production environment. Strong knowledge of and color management techniques. Experience with quality control procedures related to print production. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work effectively during third shift hours in a fast-paced environment.
