Job Description
A ROLE IN THE PRINTING AND PUBLISHING INDUSTRY, TYPICALLY WORKING IN A PRESROOM OR BINDERY, WHERE THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITY IS TO ASSIST IN THE SMOOTH OPERATION OF PRINTING PRESSES BY ALIGNING, STACKING AND STRAIGHTENING PRINTED SHEETS AS THEY COME OFF THE MACHINE
•REMOVING
STACKS OF PRINTED SHEETS FROM THE PRESS
•ADJUSTING
PRESS ALIGNMENT AS NEEDED
•INSPECTING
QUALITY, COUNTIN AND STACKING BUNDLES NEATLY FOR BINDERY OR MAILING
•ASSISTING
PRESS OPERATORS WITH ROLL CHANGES, INK PULLING AND PRESS CLEANING.
