The ideal Digital Print/Large Format Operator candidate should have the ability and motivation to organize, plan, and prioritize in an efficient manner in order to see each job through completion. This candidate is able to work adequately under pressure, and is able to meet given deadlines. We are looking an individual who can work well with others, and has a positive, can-do attitude. The Digital Operator in Training will participate in a structured hands-on training program to learn and operate key digital printing equipment.
Position Responsibilities:
Learn to operate digital print equipment, including jobs on non-traditional materials, oversized formats, and specialty substrates Prepare and load files for production according to job specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments to maintain optimal quality and performance Troubleshoot production issues and develop effective solutions under supervision Assist in setting up and calibrating presses and finishing equipment Maintain production schedules, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure inventory of materials and supplies is adequate Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace in compliance with company and industry standards
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of digital printing or related production experience is desired Basic knowledge of lithographic press setup and operation Working knowledge of PC and Mac platforms, including Mac-based RIP software Ability to establish and maintain color accuracy and print quality under supervision Strong multitasking skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Familiarity with printing terminology and processes, including layout, file preparation, color matching, and finishing Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills Willingness to learn and adapt to new machines, processes, and technology

Monday-Friday
  • 3:30 PM
  • 12:00 AM Occasional Saturdays as needed based on production workflow
