Screen Print Press Operator

We are seeking a Screen Print / Press Operator for a manufacturing company in Fitchburg , MA . This role handles press setup, printing , quality checks, material handling, and equipment upkeep to ensure accurate, high-quality output. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor screen printing presses. (Start to finish production) Load paper, adjust feed/tension controls, and respond to system alerts. Mix inks, fill ink fountains, and verify color accuracy. Pull proofs and inspect alignment, registration, and ink density. Perform in-process quality checks throughout the run. Clean ink fountains, plates, and cylinders; perform minor repairs. Make digital file adjustments (fonts, graphics, color separations). Review job orders, verify paper/ink requirements, and prep materials. Retrieve and organize printed parts for subsequent passes. Monitor inventory and maintain a clean, organized work area. Assist the Screen Print Group Leader with setups and heat treating. Record daily time and production data. Monitor humidity/temperature; operate auxiliary equipment (cutting, folding, laminating). Requirements Minimum of 3 years of printing experienc e, preferably screen printing. High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and mechanical/technical aptitude. Ability to troubleshoot print or equipment issues. The hours are Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM with flexibility available. The pay is $21-$24/hr DOE.
