Company Overview Soft As A Grape, located in Wareham, Massachusetts, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Automatic Screen Printer to join our production team. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime opportunities available during peak production periods. Soft As A Grape operates 15 retail locations across the United States, holds licensing agreements with Major League Baseball (MLB) and Minor League Baseball (MiLB), and maintains a strong national wholesale presence in the resort apparel market. Our production team prints licensed and custom apparel for retail stores and wholesale partners across the country. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality printed apparel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Production Manager The Automatic Screen Printer is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of automatic screen printing presses to produce high-quality printed garments. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate registration, consistent print quality, and efficient production while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate automatic screen printing presses (M&R preferred) Load garments onto platens and monitor press operation to maintain consistent print quality Align and register screens for multi-color prints Adjust press settings including squeegee pressure, off-contact, and stroke for optimal printing Mix inks and maintain proper ink consistency for production runs Perform test prints and color checks prior to production Inspect printed garments for defects and maintain company quality standards Maintain production efficiency while minimizing waste and downtime Clean screens, squeegees, flood bars, and press components after runs Assist with screen changes and job transitions between production runs Perform basic press maintenance and troubleshooting as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Communicate with the production team regarding job priorities and quality issues Work with team members to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines Qualifications Previous experience operating automatic screen printing presses (M&R experience strongly preferred) Knowledge of garment printing processes and ink systems including plastisol, water-based, and discharge inks Ability to read and follow work orders and production specifications Strong attention to detail and print quality Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability is a plus Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Skills Experience with multi-color registration and high-volume production runs Knowledge of screen setup, exposure, and reclaim processes Familiarity with M&R automatic presses and equipment Understanding of production workflow and scheduling Work Environment Production floor within a garment decoration facility Exposure to inks, cleaning chemicals, and printing equipment Requires standing for extended periods and repetitive motion Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Paid time off and holidays Health & Dental Insurance available Employee apparel discounts Opportunity for advancement within a growing company Location Soft As A Grape -
