You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing equipment to ensure printed materials meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain digital press equipment to produce jobs according to customer specifications and job ticket instructions.
Review job orders and production schedules to determine press setup requirements, including substrates, inks, coatings, and finishing specifications.
Set up digital press jobs by loading substrates, configuring files, calibrating color profiles, and preparing the press for accurate print production.
Monitor press performance during production runs to ensure consistent color quality, registration, and print accuracy.
Perform routine color calibration and adjustments to maintain brand color standards and overall print quality.
Conduct regular quality checks on printed materials to ensure adherence to company and customer specifications.
Troubleshoot print defects, equipment issues, or workflow problems to minimize downtime and reduce material waste.
Perform routine press maintenance, cleaning, and preventative care while reporting any mechanical issues requiring repair.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with production supervisors, prepress, and finishing teams to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery. RequirementsExperience operating digital printing equipment (HP Indigo, Xeikon, Domino, Durst, or similar preferred).Knowledge of substrates used in pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, or specialty packaging.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistent color accuracy and print quality.
Ability to read and follow job tickets, work orders, and production schedules.
Familiarity with digital front-end (DFE) systems, color management, and RIP software preferred.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor equipment adjustments.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
