Belcamp, MD Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00/hourSchedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00PM Job Type:
Temp-to-Hire Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Digital Printer to join a growing production team. This hands-on role is responsible for operating digital label printing equipment, managing print production workflows, performing quality inspections, and ensuring finished products meet customer specifications and deadlines.Responsibilities:
- Operate digital label presses such as Konica Minolta, HP Indigo, Xeikon, Xerox, and similar equipment.
- Manage full production workflows including job setup, makeready, press adjustments, and output verification.
- Perform die cutting, lamination, slitting, rewinding, and finishing operations.
- Operate finishing equipment including GM Mini, ABG, Rotoflex, and Prati systems.
- Conduct color calibration, profiling, density checks, and quality inspections.
- Troubleshoot print quality issues and basic mechanical equipment problems.
- Utilize RIP/workflow software such as Fiery, FreeFlow, Onyx, or AccurioPro.
- Complete routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and consumable replacements.
- Organize production schedules and job queues to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating digital presses, label presses, or commercial printing equipment required.
- Knowledge of digital printing processes and color management principles.
- Experience with RIP software such as Fiery, Onyx, or FreeFlow preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Manufacturing, production, printing, or label industry experience preferred.
- Experience with HP Indigo, Xeikon, or Konica Minolta AccurioLabel equipment is a plus.
