We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Lead Offset Pressman to oversee multi-color press operations, maintain high color standards, and keep production moving efficiently.Key Responsibilities Press Operation:
Set up, adjust, and operate multi-color sheetfed/web offset presses (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori, Manroland) per job tickets.Color & Quality Control:
Maintain ink-and-water balance, proper register, and precise color consistency using spectro/densitometers.Maintenance & Setup:
Perform routine preventative press maintenance, roller settings, plate changes, and basic troubleshooting to limit downtime.Team Leadership:
Work closely with and guide 2nd-shift press helpers and second pressmen.Safety:
Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience operating multi-color offset presses. Deep knowledge of ink-water balance, paper stock behavior, and automated press controls. strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Excellent color vision and ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Benefits Competitive Pay:
