In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise in color management, graphic design, and machine operation will ensure that every print meets our high standards. We are looking for people who care about quality, speed, and consistency that can contribute to the creation of visually compelling products that make a lasting impact. Responsibilities Set up and operate screen printing machinery, ensuring precise alignment and registration for each print run. Manage color consistency and accuracy through effective color mixing techniques, adjusting inks and screens as needed. Interpret production documents, including layouts, specifications, and technical instructions, to ensure accurate reproduction of designs. Maintain quality control by inspecting printed materials for defects, color accuracy, and adherence to specifications throughout the production process. Operate flash dryer and conveyor dryer Clean presses, screens, squeegees, and workstations as needed Perform routine maintenance and mechanical adjustments on printing equipment to optimize performance and prevent downtime. Troubleshoot technical issues related to screen printing, digital printing, large-format printers, or industrial equipment to minimize disruptions. Experience Proven experience in screen printing or related manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of press operation and machine maintenance. Knowledge of color management principles, typography, layout design, and print advertising standards. Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions meticulously. Strong technical proficiency with prepress procedures, machine operation, and quality control procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adjust machinery settings for optimal output while maintaining safety standards. Qualifications 1+ year of screen-printing experience preferred Experience with plastisol inks Strong attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift 40 pounds Able to work independently and with a team
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
