Job Description
Position Summary The Offset Printing Specialist is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining offset printing equipment used in the decoration and printing of plastic food containers and plastic cups. The ideal candidate will ensure consistent print quality, production efficiency, and compliance with company safety and GMP standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate offset printing machines according to production specifications. Read and interpret production orders, artwork, and print requirements. Adjust press settings to maintain color consistency and print quality. Perform quality checks throughout the production process. Inspect printed products for defects, color variations, and registration issues. Troubleshoot printing problems and make necessary machine adjustments. Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and company policies. Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve production goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of offset printing experience preferred. Experience printing on plastic containers, plastic cups, or packaging materials is highly preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify and correct color and print quality issues. Ability to read production specifications and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Preferred Skills Experience with plastic packaging manufacturing. Knowledge of inks, printing plates, color matching, and print registration. Understanding of food packaging manufacturing requirements. Knowledge of GMP and food safety standards.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 48.0 per weekBenefits:
