Screen Printing Press Operator

Directs, plans, assigns and inspects operations within the Screen Printing and DTG Departments, including screen making and stencil development, screen storage, screen washing, and screen repair. Responsible for the implementation of all policies, practices, and procedures pertaining to department personnel. Must have strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and is comfortable working at a very fast pace Ability to manage personnel as required, and work independently Ability to schedule jobs and meet deadlines Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, strong time management and organization skills Experience with M&R equipment Create production standards to assure high productivity, superior quality and safe printing line operations Monitor the quality of production by reviewing jobs prior to customer pickup or shipping Knowledgeable about pantone matching, manual and automatic screen printing equipment, DTG equipment, as well as doing transfers on heat press machines Familiarity with inksoft platform and production flow Familiar with Shop Works Experience with water based/discharge printing Must be trained in the following areas: Reclaim new screens Operate screen wash system Perform necessary maintenance on multiple machines Supply print shop with new materials as needed Maintain shop floor cleanliness to ensure streamline workflow capabilities Ensure new screens are stocked for print shop at all times Collaborate with management in receiving work orders Able to operate exposure unit Responsible for collaborating with management for obtaining supplies and materials as needed
